Przedstawiam Wam super rzadkie, japońskie Greco Mirage z lat 80-tych. To jedyne takie „wiosło”, jakie mieliśmy przez ostatnie 16 lat. Robi mega wrażenie i jest naprawdę solidnie wykonane – widać większą dbałość o detale niż w tańszych modelach Greco LP itd. Z tego, co można znaleźć w internecie, jest to bliźniak Ibaneza Icemana – produkowany w tej samej fabryce, z tym że Iceman był produkowany dla reszty świata, a Greco dla Japońców, bo wiadomo, że Japończycy mają swoje własne wygibasy jak sushi czy hentai;) Na pokładzie mamy humbuckery U-1000 produkowane przez Maxona. Elektronika pasywna: 2x vol, 2x tone plus selektor pickupów.
Mamy tu również bardzo ciekawy, solidny i masywny osprzęt – mówię tu o mostku i strunociągu. Klucze są równie interesujące – strunę można przewlekać na wylot. Widać, że ktoś starał się o detale bardziej niż matka z dzieckiem, próbując przekonać je do zjedzenia zielonego groszku.
Korpus wykonany jest z jesionu, gryf to mahoń, a podstrunnica to palisander. Gitara ma zrobiony szlif podstrunnicy i progi wymienione na nowe w naszym warsztacie, więc mamy spokój na lata! Brzmieniowo chyba najbliżej do Les Paula, ale nie do końca, bo mamy tu jesion i przykręcany gryf, więc jest trochę żywiej i klarowniej. Polecam!

We also have very interesting, solid, and hefty hardware here – I’m talking about the bridge and tailpiece. The tuners are just as interesting – you can thread the string through. You can tell someone put more effort into the details than a mother trying to convince her child to eat green peas.
The body is made of ash, the neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The guitar has had its fingerboard polished and the frets replaced with new ones in our workshop, so we’re set for years to come! Sound-wise, it’s probably closest to a Les Paul, but not quite, because we have ash here and a bolt-on neck, so it’s a bit livelier and clearer. I recommend it!
