Classic Fender Mustang – Japanese reissue of the 1965 model, upgraded with excellent Seymour Duncan pickups.
This model was introduced in 1964 as an affordable “student guitar” with its iconic offset body. Today, Mustangs are experiencing a real renaissance – especially among guitarists who are tired of the usual Stratocasters and Telecasters.
The compact size, lightweight and thin body, plus the short 24″ scale make this guitar incredibly comfortable, responsive, and perfect for both stage and studio use.

The neck has a very comfortable vintage C-shape (often called “soft V” or “racing C”) with 22 frets and a 7.25″ radius. The body is made of basswood (linden), the neck is maple with rosewood fingerboard, and the nut is real bone.
The factory Mustang pickups were decent but not spectacular, so they’ve been replaced with Seymour Duncan pickups – the guitar now sounds absolutely fantastic.
A nice extra touch are the characteristic cream-coloured vintage-style tuners.

The finish is a beautiful classic Cherry Sunburst with smooth, natural color transitions. The golden center gently emerges as if coming out from behind clouds – it looks organic and premium, not flat and artificial like on budget guitars.

The guitar has undergone our full makeover:
Original thick poly finish was removed from the body and replaced with thin nitro in beautiful Aztec Gold with nice lacquer checking and subtle ageing.
Installed a set of excellent DiMarzio Richie Kotzen pickups.
Bridge saddles replaced with compensated brass ones.
Tuners upgraded to locking Gotoh.
The guitar is fully upgraded and plays better than many much more expensive instruments. Electronics are top-notch – CTS pots, CRL switch, Switchcraft jack (everything properly shielded). Frets have been lightly polished (only about 5% material removed). Hardware looks like new. Fresh strings and a nice, comfortable setup just done.
Highly recommended – this is a real bargain. It’s a guitar worthy of a Custom Shop, but at 2-3x lower price and even better cared for!

Brand and Model History
Guyatone is one of the oldest Japanese guitar companies – founded in 1933 by Mitsuo Matsuki (originally as Matsuki Seisakujo). They started with Hawaiian guitars and dove into electrics in the 50s. In the 60s and 70s, they pioneered exporting affordable yet innovative guitars to the USA and Europe – often under other brands (Kent, Antoria, early Ibanez). Legends like Hank Marvin (The Shadows), Rory Gallagher, and early Jimi Hendrix played on them.
The LG series was Guyatone’s flagship solid-body line from the 60s-70s. The LG-23 model emerged after 1970 (following a brief company closure in 1969 and production restart in new factories – e.g., Uni or Chushin). It’s an early 70s model with a distinctive large headstock and metal truss rod cover. Later versions (post-1974) had a different logo font and more standard pickups.
Rarity: The LG-23 wasn’t mass-produced, and the LG-23R variant even had a built-in rhythm box (simple drum machine with rhythms like bossa nova or foxtrot – super collectible!). Your guitar is the classic non-„R” version, but with the same cool offset vibe.

Beautiful Mosrite after a FULL, no-compromise restoration, done properly from start to finish.
The thick polyurethane finish was completely removed from both body and neck. A new hard, thin sealer was applied, followed by ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer: Aztec Gold on the body and headstock, and amber tint on the neck.
Brand-new medium jumbo frets, completely rebuilt electronics, new pickguard, knobs, and new tuners (the originals were by far the weakest point of the guitar).
In short: the guitar has been rebuilt almost from scratch, the right way 🙂

The body is made of solid mahogany.
The neck follows classic old Hofner and Mosrite construction — a thin lengthwise-laminated maple veneer (this is not cross-laminated plywood), a special technique that provides exceptional stability against twisting and warping.
Equipped with two pickups with a strong P90-like character and a massive vibrato tailpiece.
The guitar sounds extremely vintage, full of character, is very comfortable to play, though admittedly a bit on the heavier side.
Highly recommended. We genuinely love restoring Mosrites — once the factory shortcomings are corrected, these guitars turn into absolute killer instruments.

This is a Teisco from the line of budget guitars made in Japan during the 1960s. Back in the day, these were cheap pawn-shop guitars selling for a few dozen dollars. Today they’re gaining popularity as players look for something distinctive and unconventional (they simply don’t make guitars like this anymore).
Unfortunately, many of them are a disappointment after purchase due to poor condition and decades of neglect.
This one is the exact opposite. The guitar has undergone a complete restoration, while retaining as many original parts as possible, to make sure it’s inspiring and fun to play:

Beyond the visual makeover, the instrument has been fully serviced and prepared for professional use: re-leveled fingerboard and brand-new Hosco Japan frets. Japanese Fender Stratocaster Standard from 1995 in a classic Sunburst finish – exactly what a good Strat should look like: elegant, slightly vintage, and full of character.
The alder body combined with a rosewood fingerboard delivers a warm, articulate and unmistakably “Strat-like” tone.
Equipped with ceramic single-coils for a bit more bite and a clear, punchy attack. The satin-finished neck feels fast, smooth and non-sticky, with truss rod adjustment at the headstock for easy access.
Hardware includes sealed, oil-filled tuners that hold tuning reliably, and a tremolo bridge with a heavy block and spring-steel saddles – a solid, classic setup with good sustain and stable operation.

I present a Yamaha SA-30, over 50 years old – true vintage! Original, very thin nitro lacquer and a condition that truly impresses. The guitar is phenomenally well-preserved, and after our “guitar spa,” the lacquer has regained its shine while maintaining full originality. The hardware shines almost like new. The frets were replaced – the original ones were very small, practically needing replacement right away – and the tuning pegs were changed by the previous owner. This is a plus, as the original tuners were probably the guitar’s weakest point.

It features two Yamaha-made pickups with balanced sound and passive electronics in a volume, balance, and tone configuration. The output jack is located on the side, in a metal plate that cleverly protects the body from potential jack pull-out. The body and neck are made of maple, with a rosewood fretboard. This is a full hollowbody, so the guitar is very light, and the neck – as typical for Japanese guitars – is comfortable and slim.
