Pięknie zachowany Fender Stratocaster Standard wykonany w Japonii w połowie lat 90-tych.
Ten model standard cechuje się przyjemnym satynowym wykończeniem gryfu – ręka się ślizga po gryfie, a nie przykleja tak jak do gryfu w połysku. Lakier przez te lata już ładnie pożółkł w bursztynowy odcień. Á propos lat – jest to już prawie 30-to letnie wiosło i w pełni zasługuje na miano “vintage”!
Kolejnym fajnym udogodnieniem jest dostęp do regulacji pręta od strony główki, nie trzeba odkręcać gryfu jak w większości Fenderów.
Do tego oczywiście, jak to Japonia, w standardzie dostajemy super jakość wykonania, dużo lepszą niż współczesne wiosła, i fantastyczny osprzęt i pikapy Gotoha – olejowe klucze, mostek z dużym ciężkim blokiem i vintage’owo brzmiące pikapy.
Plastiki (pikap covery, gałki i switch) pożółkły i kontrastują z płytką w białym kolorze.
Kolor gitary to typowe Fenderowskie Candy Apple Red, czyli gruboziarniste pstrzące się srebro (metallic) i na to transparentny czerwony lakier candy + lakier bezbarwny. W jednej warstwie tak intensywnej czerwieni uzyskać się nie da!
Co do specyfikacji – mamy tu olchowy korpus z klonowym gryfem i palisandrową podstrunnicą. Do tego siodełko wykonane z kości, szyjka wąskie smukłe C z progami medium jumbo. Gitara lekka, strzelam okolice 3,7kg.

A beautifully preserved Fender Strat Standard made in Japan in the middle of the 90’s.
This model is known for its comfortable, satin finish on the neck – the player’ds hand slides around and doesn’t stick to it like it would on the gloss finish. The lacquer has nicelly yellowed over the years into amber shade. Talking age – this guitar is over 30 years old and definitely deserves the name “vintage”!
Another useful addition is the neck adjustment point from the headstock, removing the need to remove the neck for adjustment, like in most Fenders.
Also obviously, as always with Japan, we got great quality, much better than modern guitars, and fantastic hardware and pickups from Gotoh – die-cast tuners, bridge with a heavy trem block and vintage-sounding pickups.
ACThe plastics (pickup covers, the pots and the swith) have also yellowed and contrast nicely with the white pickguard.
Color of the guitar is a Fender’s typical Candy Apple Red, so a coarse shimmering silver metallic with a transparent red candy and a translucent layer on top. You can’t achieve that intense red in one layer!
Talking specs – here we have an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, along with a bone nut. The neck is a thin, slim C with medium jumbo frets. The guitar is light, I’d wager around 3,7 kg.
