A bass in a hot taco salsa color. Heavily aged with lots of patina and nitro cracks! Alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard with rectangular markers and binding. Very much in a 60s vibe. Fender Pure 64 Jazz Bass pickups and a bridge that further spices up our bold mix! The bass growls, thunders, and has a killer low-end punch. When played gently, it’s very polite and well-behaved, but with a bit more aggression, it gets a mega edgy attitude.
Passive electronics, of course, based on our favorite CTS pots, Gavitt wiring, and a Pure Tone Jack socket. Everything is neatly shielded. The neck profile is a C shape, 38 mm wide, with a 7.25” radius, medium jumbo frets, and a bone nut. Ultra-low and comfortable action.
The finish is our tough sealer topped with super-thin nitro – we apply it ultra-thin, but thanks to the sealer, it holds up perfectly, keeping the nitro layer razor-thin!
