Ten egzemplarz, mimo ponad 30 lat, jest w zdumiewającym stanie. Kremowy kolor po tylu latach może nierównomiernie się odbarwić, a tutaj mamy niemal jednolity odcień, zわずkilkoma obiciami i zarysowaniami.
Plusem gitary jest jej poręczność – aż trudno uwierzyć, jak lekkie i cienkie jest to body! Krótsza menzura sprawia, że gitara jest niezwykle wygodna i aż chce się z nią wygłupiać na scenie.
Korpus gitary wykonano z olchy, gryf to klon z palisandrową podstrunnicą. Profil C o promieniu 7,25” z mniejszymi, vintage’owymi progami. Na główce znajdują się klucze typu vintage oraz siodełko wykonane z kości.
Korpus uzbrojono w dwa charakterne single na magnesach alnico oraz prostą, pasywną elektronikę – włącznik dla każdej przystawki, umożliwiający także odwrócenie fazy przetworników, regulację głośności (volume) i barwy (tone). Do tego znakomity mostek (dużo lepszy niż w modelach Jaguar czy Jazzmaster – wielu muzyków zakłada mostki z Mustangów, ponieważ są stabilniejsze) oraz bardzo prosty w konstrukcji strunociąg z tremolo.

An ultra-rare Fender Mustang in Europe! Over the past 15 years, we’ve only had 3 of these.
This specimen, despite being over 30 years old, is in astonishing condition. The cream color tends to fade unevenly over time, but this one retains an almost uniform shade, with only a few dings and scratches.
The guitar’s standout feature is its portability – it’s hard to believe how light and thin the body is! The shorter scale length makes it incredibly comfortable, practically begging to be played around with on stage.
The body is made of alder, with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. It features a C-shaped neck with a 7.25” radius and smaller, vintage-style frets. The headstock is equipped with vintage tuners and a bone nut.
The body is fitted with two distinctive alnico single-coil pickups and simple passive electronics – a switch for each pickup (allowing for phase reversal), plus volume and tone controls. It also boasts an excellent bridge (far superior to those on Jaguars or Jazzmasters – many players swap to Mustang bridges for their stability) and a straightforward vibrato tailpiece.
