Professional Fender „Strat” from a highly regarded year! This guitar is already 37 years old, so it fully deserves the „vintage” badge – older than some guitarists, yet it still sounds young and fresh 🙂. Despite its age, it looks fantastic visually, and technically, there’s nothing to complain about. Minor signs of use, probably spent a long time in some attic in Japan, dreaming of a stage comeback.
The body is made of alder, neck from maple + rosewood, the classic sixties combo. This is a higher-end model that has „USA Alnico” pickups instead of standard ceramics – a real big upgrade, as they sound like a rockman’s dream. On the headstock, there are vintage-style tuners and a bone nut. On the other side, a bridge with steel saddles and a large heavy tremolo block.
Electronics are passive, of course: 2x tone, volume, and 5-position pickup selector.
Slim neck – in Fender’s offerings, it’s more like a racing machine 😉.
