Greco Mirage Japan 1980s 4700 zł 1090 EUR ​

I present to you a super rare, Japanese Greco Mirage from the 80s. This is the only „axe” we’ve had in the last 16 years. It makes a mega impression and is really solidly built – you can see more attention to detail than in cheaper Greco LP models, etc. From what can be found online, it’s a twin to the Ibanez Iceman – manufactured in the same factory, except the Iceman was made for the rest of the world, while Greco was made for the Japanese because, you know, the Japanese have their own quirks like sushi or hentai 😉 On board, we have U-1000 humbuckers made by Maxon. The electronics are passive: 2x volume, 2x tone, plus a pickup selector.
We also have very interesting, solid, and hefty hardware here – I’m talking about the bridge and tailpiece. The tuners are just as interesting – you can thread the string through. You can tell someone put more effort into the details than a mother trying to convince her child to eat green peas.
The body is made of ash, the neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The guitar has had its fingerboard polished and the frets replaced with new ones in our workshop, so we’re set for years to come! Sound-wise, it’s probably closest to a Les Paul, but not quite, because we have ash here and a bolt-on neck, so it’s a bit livelier and clearer. I recommend it!
