Gitara przypomina Mosrite – kształt korpusu, podobne pickupy (hybryda P90 i klasycznych singli) z dużymi magnesami Alnico, bardzo dynamiczne i jasne. W odróżnieniu od Mosrite ma ultracienki korpus typu kanapka (mahoń/olcha). Strunociąg bliższy Mustangowi, a mostek z rolkowanymi siodełkami to autorski projekt.
Gryf wykonano z klonu z palisandrową podstrunnicą – w przeciwieństwie do korpusu jest solidny i wygodny. Podstrunnica ma nowe progi, gryf jest prosty jak strzała. Wymieniono siodełko i klucze, ponieważ oryginalne były w złym stanie. Stare gitary mają w sobie coś wyjątkowego – feeling zupełnie inny niż w nowych instrumentach. Likely the only Guyatone of its kind in Poland! Model LG-125T, made in the late 1960s. It shares some similarities with Mosrite – body shape, similar pickups (a hybrid of P90 and classic single-coils) with large Alnico magnets, very lively and bright. Unlike Mosrite, it features an ultra-thin sandwich-style body (mahogany/alder). The tailpiece is more Mustang-like, while the bridge with roller saddles is a unique design.
The neck is made of maple with a rosewood fretboard – unlike the body, it’s substantial and comfortable to hold. The fretboard has fresh, new frets, and the neck is straight as an arrow. The nut and tuning pegs have been replaced, as the originals were falling apart. There’s something special about old guitars – they feel completely different from modern ones. This guitar has undergone a full restoration and is free from the typical issues of vintage instruments. Work done:
