Lightweight maple body with maple top, bolt-on neck and rosewood fingerboard. Solid hardware includes quality chrome die-cast Yamaha tuners, a heavy stopbar tailpiece and a Tune-O-Matic bridge. Powered by two Yamaha L2 humbuckers – classic PAF-style with Alnico V magnets.
Just like the best Yamahas from the late 70s / early 80s – the build quality is obvious and tangible in every detail (wood selection, perfect fit & finish, frets). This is not a cheap modern copy, but a proper instrument from the famous “lawsuit era”.
The finish is a beautiful classic Cherry Sunburst with smooth, natural color transitions. The golden center gently emerges as if coming out from behind clouds – it looks organic and premium, not flat and artificial like on budget guitars.

In tone you can clearly hear this is an old instrument built with real attention to quality. Warmth, dynamics, excellent sustain and plenty of soul. Many newer (and much more expensive) guitars have flashier hardware, gold plating and fancy binding, but often feel like toys in your hands. This one feels like a proper, serious guitar.
